Armed with a newly released third album, Cambridge five-piece Mallory Knox will be returning to Coventry’s Godiva Festival four years after featuring on the festivals Main Stage in 2013.
The alternative rock quintet will be headlining the festivals rock tent on the opening Friday night. Their appearance will be a stop-off on their headline tour of the UK with lead singer Mikey Chapman stating, “Last time we played Godiva we had one of the best shows we played all year, this time round we’re expecting no different. Can’t wait to get back and play again!”
2017 Godiva Festival is already shaping up to be one of the festivals strongest years with Mallory Knox joining the likes of Example, The Darkness and The Enemy’s very own Tom Clarke on the bill. More names are expected to be announced leading up to the festival and Coventry City Events manager, Lee House, noted: “Last year, we had Neck Deep headlining the Rock Tent who went down incredibly well, and we had such a good reaction to Mallory Knox back in 2013 that when they asked to come back to play in the Rock Tent, we knew they were a great choice!”
LFM will be publishing a full preview of Coventry’s Godiva festival in the coming weeks but in the meantime you can keep up to date by visiting www.GodivaFestival.com.
