What We Know So Far About The Upcoming Slaves Album

15 months after their debut album Are You Satisfied was released, Isaac and Laurie are back with their second album titled Take Control to be released on September the 30th.

It is a testament and confirmation to their success by how greatly anticipated their second album is by fans. When releasing Are You Satisfied under two years ago the punk duo were relatively unknown to many, but now they are everywhere. Front covers of NME have followed along with their debut album deservedly finding itself in the top 10. Their material can be regularly heard on Radio 1 and this year they bagged a slot on the MainStage at Reading festival.

Their upcoming second album has been labeled as “all star” by BBC Newsbeat and features  Mike D (Beastie Boys) as a producer along with contributions from individuals such as Joel Amey (Wolf Alice).

What will it sound like?

Over the last two years the boys have collaborated with Chase and Status and also shared a stage with Skepta, so there is a very large umbrella to which the sound of Slaves sits under. Along with Isaac’s experience in a grime group before Slaves existed we really have no clue as to what to expect. But we are, like so many, very very excited.

Listen below to the single ‘People That You Meet’ that the boys made with the help of Wolf Alice drummer Joel Amey which you can get instantly when you pre-order the album.
